quotation marks
single quotes for first quotation, double for second inside. When complete sentences are quoted, the quotes are introduced by a colon and closed outside the full stop.

He said: 'Follow me up that steep hill.' When incomplete sentences are quoted the quotes are closed within the full stop. He told us to 'follow him up that steep hill'.

when referring to Elizabeth II but the prince, the duke etc
